Truth About DietsThis looks like a home-run plan by twin brothers, Bill and Jim Germanakos, who are now telling the public how they shed a combined total of 350 pounds.

If you don’t know these guys, they won “The Biggest Loser” contest in season 4.   I think what makes this plan so good is that they are just two “regular” guys.  They’re not some big shot “diet gurus” — they were, at one time, morbidly obese.  And they lost the weight.  They aren’t trying to preach some “concept” to you — they’re sharing what actually worked for them.

The workout videos let you see what Bill and Jim actually do as their routine — the exact same exercises that helped them achieve their phenomenal weight loss.  And you know what I really like about these videos?  I don’t have to watch some skinny little model who looks like she’s never “fallen off the wagon” with — oh, I don’t know — maybe a hot fudge sundae!

If I had to choose the best thing about this program I’d say it’s because these guys are real.  You can read their story and know that if they can do it there’s absolutely nothing stopping you from achieving your goals as well.

The only negative I have with this plan is that I’ve had a little problem with the Online Diet generator, it seems to take a long time to load but that could be because the plan had just launched when I was trying it and a lot of people could have been trying to access the program.  It seems quite extensive.  There’s more than enough choices and all the recipes and nutritional info are right at your finger tips.

In general I have to say this looks like a good, solid plan built on proven weight loss information.  It’s not gimmicky and it doesn’t require you to do things that you can’t fit into your “normal” life.  It’s a well rounded program that includes all the things you need to achieve weight loss without sacrificing your health.

This plan should be especially encouraging to men.  Most diet plans seem to be geared to women but watching these two “regular joes” should make it easy for anyone — male or female.
