The Positive Thinking Link To Weight Loss

When you repeat these techniques often enough you’ll be able to start a “reprogramming” of the non-conscious part of the mind.  Science has shown that it’s possible to create new patterns through these methods.  It usually takes 21 to 30 days to establish this new pattern so it’s critical that you stick with these methods.

It isn’t easy.  Controlling your thinking is hard!  You need to accept the fact that negative thoughts will pop up from time to time, just try not to dwell on them.  Try to counteract them with your positive affirmations.

What are you saying to yourself everyday?  Do you say “I’m fat”  – “I’ll never lose this weight” – “Nothing I do works” –

If that’s what your saying then change it!  Start saying “I’m becoming leaner every day” — “I am growing healthier every day.”  The simple fact is you can think yourself thin and healthy.  But don’t get me wrong — you can’t  just eat everything in sight, never exercise and believe that you’ll end up reaching your goal!

These methods are a way to re-program your thinking and in turn will lead to new behaviors that help you reach your goals.  It’s a whole string of positive reactions — thinking and action.  They work hand in hand.  To change things (weight or any other aspect of your life) you need to start on the inside and the rest will follow.
