Be sensible. Effective, safe weight loss plans should offer a nutritionally sound, well-balanced menu. It should contain fruits, vegetables, good fats, lean proteins and high quality fiber. Choose foods that are as natural as possible and avoid highly processed, packaged foods.

Dump the sodas. Drink the best weight loss supplement know to man – water! You’ve probably read that many of us mistake hunger for thirst. We eat when we should just have a glass of water. And the sugary sodas and diet drinks offer nothing but useless calories.

Get in it for the long term. Weight loss isn’t just a 1 week, 2 week or 3 week fix. It’s a way of life. Too many processed foods and too little exercise is how you probably got where you are. If you want to maintain your weight loss for life you need to change the way you think about food. Lifestyle changes are necessary. Stop the mindless nibbling. A bite here, a bite there, it all adds up. Make it a habit to put whatever you’re going to eat on a plate and sit down to eat it. After doing this for just a few days you’ll be amazed at how quickly you stop your bad “nibbling” habit.

Do what works for others. Studies have shown that successful dieters have several things in common. They eat breakfast every day (a healthy breakfast!); they watch less than 10 hours of TV per week, they exercise about one hour per day and they weight themselves at least once a week.
